Anita Bhetwal is one of the recipients of NIMJN’s Disasters Reporting Fellowship. Anita, a journalist and storyteller originally from Jhapa and now based in Kathmandu, brings over eight years of experience in the media industry. 

She excels as a journalist, visual storyteller, scriptwriter, program producer, and host. Anita’s career spans diverse roles, including producing impactful radio and television programs, creating compelling multimedia content, and conducting in-depth investigative reporting.  

Her work focuses on critical issues such as social justice, politics, climate change, environmental challenges, and gender-based concerns. With a passion for uncovering untold stories and driving meaningful dialogue, Anita is committed to shaping narratives that inspire change.
