Urmila Yadav
Urmila Yadav, from Rupandehi, is one of the recipients of the NIMJN Human Trafficking Reporting Fellowship from Lumbini Province. This fellowship was open to the training participants of the NIMJN’s Reporting on Human Trafficking and Human Rights using Multimedia Tools training held in Nepalgunj for the journalists in Lumbini Province, supported by Australian Aid.
With over 3 years of experience, she first started her journalism journey in Nawalparasi reading Bhojpuri news on the radio. Currently, she is working as an executive editor at Rupandehi Khabar.com. Urmila has been raising the issues of marginalized communities through her journalism career. She is looking forward to uncovering the underlying issues of human rights through investigative reporting.
