Kalpana Bhattarai is one of the recipients of NIMJN’s Investigative Reporting Fellowship. She is a freelance investigative journalist based in Kathmandu. Kalpana is the recipient of the South Asia Laadli Media & Advertising Awards for Gender Sensitivity 2024 for the investigative story she produced at NIMJN. At NIMJN, she will report on organized crime.
