Reena Thapa is one of the NIMJN’s Disasters Reporting Fellowship recipients. She was selected based on her story idea about humanitarian crises and disasters.
Reena is also a former NIMJN fellow who reported on human trafficking in Pokhara's Spas. Reena began her journalism career five years ago, with a special interest in highlighting social issues, especially those impacting women. She is the recipient of the Uma Singh Journalism Award 2078 by Sancharika Samuha.
