Alina Rai is one of the recipients of NIMJN’s Disasters Reporting Fellowship. This fellowship was provided to participants of NIMJN’s training on Reporting on Humanitarian Crises and Disasters using Solutions Journalism, held in Panchthar, supported by Humanity United.
Alina recently completed her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and has been working as a newsreader and writer at Vijaypur FM for the past three years. Previously, Alina produced a report on human trafficking titled ‘How Sex Traffickers Are Using Social Media to Lure Teenage Girls Into Prostitution’ with NIMJN. She is passionate about advocating for the welfare of children and women through journalism.
