Dinesh Regmi is a trainer and a mentor at NIMJN. He was also a Senior Fellow at NIMJN. 

He has reported from Nepal's remote and urban parts, the Middle East, and India. He worked with the Kantipur Daily for 22 years. He was the Arab Bureau Chief for Kantipur, based in Qatar, from 2009 to 2012. He has also contributed to BBC Nepali Service. He holds a master's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.

At NIMJN, Regmi trains journalists on migration, human trafficking, disaster, displacement, journalistic ethics, and good governance.
