Alina Rai
Alina Rai is one of the recipients of the NIMJN Human Trafficking Reporting Fellowship from Koshi province. This fellowship was open to the training participants of the NIMJN’s training on Reporting on Human Trafficking and Human Rights using Multimedia Tools held in Biratnagar for the journalists in the Koshi province, supported by Australian Aid. Alina was selected based on her story idea and pitch related to human trafficking issues in the province. Alina is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science at Mahendra Multiple Campus. She started her journalism career at Vijaypur FM news desk in 2078 B.S. She is passionate about the subjects of street children and their rights and has also worked with Voice of Children (Itahari) in pursuit of it. As a journalist, she is interested in writing stories relating to women and children and is looking forward to exploring human trafficking reporting via this fellowship.
