**Important: This training is open to journalists from Sudurpaschim Province only. Early-career journalists and journalists from DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) backgrounds will be given priority. Two of the participants from the training will be selected for fellowship by NIMJN.
Nepal Investigative Multimedia Journalism Network (NIMJN) is a Nepal-based non-profit independent media organization that provides advanced investigative multimedia reporting training and mentorship for journalists to produce investigative multimedia stories.
NIMJN is organizing a two-and-a-half-day residential training on Reporting on Human Trafficking and Human Rights Using Multimedia Tools from September 13 to September 15, 2024| Bhadra 28 to Bhadra 30, 2081 in Dhangadhi.
The training focuses on empowering Nepali journalists with the necessary technical, digital, and reporting skills to report on human trafficking and human rights issues in Nepal. Topics to be covered in the training include introduction to Investigative Journalism, how to report on human trafficking and human rights, multimedia storytelling, online tools for reporting, ethics and safety of journalists while reporting, and many more.
This training is free and has only limited seats available. If selected, the participants will have to commit fully to the two and half days of training and will have to stay all the nights in the provided accommodation as it is a residential training.

नेपाल इन्भेष्टिगेटिभ मल्टिमिडिया जर्नालिज्म नेटवर्क (NIMJN) गैरनाफामुलक स्वतन्त्र सञ्चार संस्था हो। यसले खोजमुलक मल्टिमिडिया समाचार लेखन तथा उत्पादनका लागि तालिम तथा मेन्टरसिप प्रदान गर्दै आएको छ ।
NIMJNले मल्टिमिडिया प्रविधिको प्रयोग गरी मानव बेचबिखन तथा मानव अधिकार सम्बन्धी रिपोर्टिङ गर्ने बारेमा सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशको धनगढीमा साढे २ दिने आवासीय तालिम आयोजना गर्दैछ।
यही भदौ २८ देखि ३० गतेसम्म हुने यो तालिम खोजमुलक रिपोर्टिङ्गका लागि चाहिने सीप, प्राविधिक ज्ञान र रिपोर्टिङ्ग सम्बन्धी दक्षता अभिवृद्धिमा केन्द्रित रहने छ । जसमा खोज पत्रकारिताको परिचय, मानव बेचबिखन तथा मानवअधिकार सम्बन्धी रिपोर्टिङ्ग, मल्टिमिडिया स्टोरी टेलिङ्ग, रिपोर्टिङ्गका लागि उपयोगी अनलाइन टुल्स, आचारसंहिता, समाचार संकलनका क्रममा अपनाउनुपर्ने सुरक्षा उपाय लगायतका विषय समावेश हुनेछन्।
यो तालिम आवासीय भएको हुँदा छनोट भएका सबै पत्रकारहरू तालिमका सबै सत्रमा सहभागी भएर आयोजकले व्यवस्था गरेको आवासमा बस्नु पर्ने हुन्छ। यो तालिम नि:शुल्क हो र सहभागिताको लागि सिट सिमित रहेको छ ।
यो तालिम लिने चाहने सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका इच्छुक पत्रकारहरुले फारम भर्नु पर्नेछ। तालिममा सहभागी हुन नाम दर्ताका लागि यो गुगल फारम नेपाली वा अंग्रेजी भाषामा भर्न सक्नुहुनेछ ।
**यो तालिम सुदूरपश्चिम प्रदेशका पत्रकारहरूका लागि मात्र खुला छ। पत्रकारिता क्षेत्रमा भर्खरै प्रवेश गरेका पत्रकारहरू र विविधता, समता र समावेशीता (DEI) पृष्ठभूमिका पत्रकारहरूलाई प्राथमिकता दिइने छ । तालिमपछि २ पत्रकारलाई लेखनवृत्ति (फेलोसिप) प्रदान गरिने छ ।
