Scientific Research on COVID-19 in Nepal and Abroad Comments

Nepal Investigative Multimedia Journalism Network (NIMJN) organized a webinar on "Scientific Research on COVID-19 in Nepal and Abroad" on September 4, 2020. 

Dr. Navindra Raj Bista, MD, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital spoke about the importance of scientific research in journalism. He shared tips on searching COVID-19 related journal articles online and on using PubMed and other websites for research.

NIMJN’s chief editor and CEO Rajneesh Bhandari informed the participants about the ongoing webinars and training that are being organized to equip journalists with the latest tools and techniques to report COVID-19. 

24 participants from the NIMJN’s first safety and fact-checking training batch attended the training. The second training is being held from September 21-23, 2020. The application deadline is September 15.
